Darpariaethau eraill

7Sicrhau gwelliant parhaus i lwybrau teithio llesol

(1)Rhaid i bob awdurdod lleol sicrhau bob blwyddyn fod—

(a)llwybrau teithio llesol a chyfleusterau cysylltiedig newydd, a

(b)gwelliannau i’r llwybrau teithio llesol a chyfleusterau cysylltiedig presennol,

yn ei ardal.

(2)Rhaid i awdurdod lleol, wrth gyflawni’r ddyletswydd a osodir gan is-adran (1), roi sylw i ganllawiau a roddir gan Weinidogion Cymru.

(3)Rhaid i bob awdurdod lleol roi adroddiad i Weinidogion Cymru yn pennu’r costau a dynnwyd ganddo ym mhob blwyddyn ariannol wrth gyflawni’r ddyletswydd a osodir gan is-adran (1).

8Adroddiadau gan Weinidogion Cymru ar deithio llesol

Rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru lunio a chyhoeddi adroddiadau blynyddol ynghylch i ba raddau y mae cerddwyr a beicwyr yn gwneud teithiau teithio llesol yng Nghymru.

9Darparu ar gyfer cerddwyr a beicwyr wrth arfer swyddogaethau penodol

(1)Rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru a phob awdurdod lleol, wrth iddynt arfer eu swyddogaethau o dan Rannau 3, 4, 5, 9 a 12 o Ddeddf Priffyrdd 1980 (creu, cynnal a chadw a gwella priffyrdd, ymyrryd â phriffyrdd a chaffael etc. tir), i’r graddau y bo’n ymarferol gwneud hynny, gymryd camau rhesymol i wella’r ddarpariaeth a wneir ar gyfer cerddwyr a beicwyr.

(2)Rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru a phob awdurdod lleol roi sylw i anghenion cerddwyr a beicwyr wrth arfer eu swyddogaethau o dan—

(a)Rhannau 1, 2, 4 a 7 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (rheoleiddio traffig cyffredinol ac arbennig, mannau parcio a rhwystrau),

(b)Rhan 3 o Ddeddf Ffyrdd Newydd a Gwaith Stryd 1991 (gwaith stryd), ac

(c)Rhan 2 o Ddeddf Rheoli Traffig 2004 (rheoli’r rhwydwaith gan awdurdodau traffig lleol).

10Dyletswydd i arfer swyddogaethau i hyrwyddo teithio llesol

(1)Rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru ac awdurdodau lleol arfer eu swyddogaethau o dan y Ddeddf hon mewn modd sydd wedi ei ddylunio i—

(a)hyrwyddo teithiau teithio llesol, a

(b)sicrhau llwybrau teithio llesol newydd a’r cyfleusterau cysylltiedig a gwelliannau i’r llwybrau teithio llesol presennol a’r cyfleusterau cysylltiedig.

(2)Rhaid i bob awdurdod lleol roi adroddiad i Weinidogion Cymru yn pennu’r hyn y mae wedi ei wneud ym mhob blwyddyn ariannol wrth gyflawni’r ddyletswydd a osodir arno gan is-adran (1).
