66Dyletswydd i gynorthwyo i atal ceisydd rhag dod yn ddigartref

(1)Rhaid i awdurdod tai lleol gynorthwyo i sicrhau nad yw llety addas yn peidio â bod ar gael i geisydd ei feddiannu os yw’r awdurdod yn fodlon bod y ceisydd—

(a)o dan fygythiad o ddigartrefedd, a

(b)yn gymwys i gael cymorth.

(2)Nid yw is-adran (1) yn effeithio ar unrhyw un neu ragor o hawliau’r awdurdod, pa un ai yn rhinwedd contract, deddfiad neu reolaeth cyfraith, i sicrhau meddiant gwag o unrhyw lety.
