SCHEDULE 1ANNUAL REPORTS BY OTHER PUBLIC BODIES

1Public bodies: general

A public body (other than the Welsh Ministers or one mentioned in sub-paragraph (3)) must publish, in respect of each financial year, a report of the progress it has made in meeting its well-being objectives.

A report under this paragraph must be published as soon as reasonably practicable following the end of the financial year to which the report relates.

This paragraph does not apply to—

a

a Local Health Board or NHS trust (as to which, see paragraph 2);

b

the Natural Resources Body for Wales (as to which, see paragraph 3).

2Local Health Boards and NHS trusts

A Local Health Board or NHS trust must publish, in respect of each accounting year, a report of the progress it has made in meeting its well-being objectives.

A report published under this paragraph must be published as soon as reasonably practicable following the end of the accounting year to which the report relates.

In this paragraph, “accounting year” in relation to a Local Health Board or NHS trust has the meaning given by the order—

a

made under section 11 of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006, establishing the Board, or

b

made under section 18 of that Act, establishing the trust.

3The Natural Resources Body for Wales

In the Schedule to the Natural Resources Body for Wales (Establishment) Order 2012 (S.I.2012/1903 (W. 230)), in paragraph 22(1)(a), after “year” insert “including a report of the progress made by the authority in meeting its well-being objectives published under Part 2 of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 (anaw 2)”.

The amendment made by sub-paragraph (1) does not affect the power of the Welsh Ministers to make a further order under sections 13 and 15 of the Public Bodies Act 2011 (c. 24) amending or revoking provision made by that amendment.
