8 Excluded matters

The Ombudsman must not investigate any matter specified in schedule 4.

Her Majesty may by Order in Council amend schedule 4 so as to—
a
modify any entry in it,
b
remove any entry from it,
c
add any entry to it.

Nothing in section 7 or schedule 4 prevents the Ombudsman conducting an investigation in respect of action taken by a listed authority in operating a procedure established to examine complaints or review decisions.
