This Act may be cited as the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006.

This Act, except this section, comes into force on such day as the Scottish Ministers may by order appoint; but different days may be appointed for different provisions, for different areas, for different purposes or for different cases or classes of case.
