The Land Drainage (Scotland) Act 1958 is amended as follows.

In section 1(1), (2)(a) and (b) (application for improvement order and making of order by Secretary of State), the words “flooding or” are repealed.

In section 2(1)(c) (contents of improvement order), the words “flooding or” are repealed.

In the definition of “drainage works” in section 18(1) (interpretation), the words “flooding or” are repealed.
