12Guidance

The Scottish Ministers must issue guidance to local authorities in relation to—
a
the exercise by those authorities of their functions under this Act, and
b
the exercise by authorised officers of their functions under this Act.

The Scottish Ministers may vary or revoke guidance issued under subsection (1).
3
Local authorities and authorised officers must have regard to guidance issued under subsection (1) (including such guidance as varied under subsection (2)).
