Statement of grounds
89Principal Reporter’s duty to prepare statement of grounds

This section applies where the Principal Reporter is required by virtue of section 69(2) to arrange a children’s hearing in relation to a child.

The Principal Reporter must prepare the statement of grounds.

In this Act “statement of grounds”, in relation to a child, means a statement setting out—
a
which of the section 67 grounds the Principal Reporter believes applies in relation to the child, and
b
the facts on which that belief is based.
