Section 8 – Model records management plan

32.This section obliges the Keeper to produce and publish a model records management plan and keep the model plan under review (subsections (1) and (4)). Authorities must have regard to the model plan when preparing and revising their own plans (see subsection (3)).

33.Before issuing the model records management plan or a revised model plan, the Keeper must consult authorities and such other persons as appropriate and must have regard to the views they express (subsections (2) and (5)).
