46Making compensatory payment

This section applies where the former landlord has served notice in accordance with section 45.

The former tenant must, before the expiry of the period of 56 days beginning with the day on which the notice is served, make the compensatory payment to the former landlord.

Subsection (2) is subject to section 57.
