3. Where under section 45(2) of the Industrial Assurance Act 1923(1) the Commissioner awards that a collecting society be dissolved and its affairs wound up, the award shall be made and notified to the central office in the same manner and shall have the same effect as if it were an award made under section 95A of the Friendly Societies Act 1974 and may direct in what manner the assets of the collecting society are to be divided or appropriated but without prejudice to the proviso to section 45(2) of the Industrial Assurance Act 1923.
