21Dehongli'r Bennod hon

(1)Yn y Bennod hon—

  • ystyr “awdurdod lleol” (“local authority”) yw awdurdod lleol yng Nghymru;

  • ystyr “ffederasiwn” (“federation”) yw grŵp o ysgolion yng Nghymru sydd wedi eu ffedereiddio yn rhinwedd y Bennod hon neu a oedd wedi eu ffedereiddio yn rhinwedd adran 24 o Ddeddf Addysg 2002 cyn i'r Bennod hon ddod i rym, ac ystyr “ysgol ffederal” (“federated school”) yw ysgol sy'n ffurfio rhan o ffederasiwn;

  • ystyr “ysgol a gynhelir” (“maintained school”) yw ysgol yng Nghymru sy'n ysgol gymunedol, ysgol sefydledig neu ysgol wirfoddol, ysgol gymunedol arbennig neu ysgol sefydledig arbennig neu ysgol feithrin a gynhelir.

(2)Mewn unrhyw ddeddfiad—

(a)mae unrhyw gyfeiriad at gorff llywodraethu neu lywodraethwyr ysgol i'w ddehongli, mewn perthynas ag ysgol ffederal, fel cyfeiriad at gorff llywodraethu neu lywodraethwyr y ffederasiwn, a

(b)mae unrhyw gyfeiriad at offeryn llywodraethu ysgol i'w ddehongli, mewn perthynas ag ysgol ffederal, fel cyfeiriad at offeryn llywodraethu'r ffederasiwn.
