I1I2198Historic Buildings Council

There shall continue to be a body called “the Historic Buildings Council”.

The functions of the Historic Buildings Council are—

a

to keep under review, and from time to time report to the Department on, the general state of preservation of listed buildings;

b

to advise the Department on such matters relating to the preservation of buildings of special architectural or historic interest as the Department may refer to it;

c

such other functions as are conferred on it by any statutory provision.

Schedule 5 has effect with respect to the Historic Buildings Council.
