Coming into operation in accordance with Regulation 1(1)

The Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21F(6), 21G(5) and (7), 21H(1) and (2), 67(2) and (3) and 68(1) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995(1) and now vested in it(2) makes the following Regulations:

1995 c. 50. Sections 21F, 21G and 21H were inserted by Article 13 of the Disability Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 (S.I. 2006 No. 312 (N.I.1)) (“the 2006 Order”); sections 67(2) and (3) and 68(1) are modified in their application to Northern Ireland by paragraphs 46 and 47 of Schedule 8; section 67(3) is amended by paragraphs 1 and 25(1) of Schedule 1 to the 2006 Order; section 68(1), which was amended by paragraphs 1 and 26 of Schedule 1 to the 2006 Order, is an interpretation provision and is cited for the definitions of “prescribed” and “regulations”
