1. These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Legal Services (Scope) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016 and shall come into operation on [Date] 2016.
2. In paragraph 2(d) of Schedule 2 to the Access to Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003, after paragraph (xxiv) insert—
“(xxv)under paragraph 2, 6 or 7 of Schedule 3 to the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Criminal Justice and Support for Victims) Act (Northern Ireland) 2015(3);
(xxvi)under section 57, 60 or 61 of the Justice Act (Northern Ireland) 2015(4);”.

These Regulations amend Schedule 2 to the Access to Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 regarding the proceedings which may be funded as civil legal services.
The effect of these amendments is to provide that representation in a court of summary jurisdiction relating to applications for Slavery and Trafficking Prevention Orders and applications for Violent Offences Prevention Orders may be funded as civil legal services.
The Regulations come into operation on [date] 2016.
S.I. 2003/435 (N.I. 10). Schedule 2 to the 2003 Order has been amended by Articles 1(3)(b), 102(2) and Schedule 6 Part 2 of the Criminal Justice) Northern Ireland Order 2008 S.I. 2008/1216 (N.I. 1), regulation 5 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments (Protection Measures) Regulations 2014 S.I. 2014/3298, section 1(3) of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 c.6, and the Civil Legal Services (Scope) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016 S.R. 2016 No. 202. There have also been other amendments made to Schedule 2, none of which are relevant for the purposes of these Regulations.
