Consequential amendments and repealsN.I.

7.—(1) At the end of paragraph 1(b) of the Schedule to the [1952 c. 67] Visiting Forces Act 1952 (definition of “offence against the person”), there shall be inserted, appropriately numbered—

“(0)the Child Abduction (Northern Ireland) Order 1985.”

(2) In Schedule 1 to the [1968 c. 34 (N.I.)] Children and Young Persons Act (Northern Ireland) 1968—

(a)for the words “55 or 56” there shall be substituted the words “ or 55 ”; and

(b)at the end there shall be added—

“Any offence under the Child Abduction (Northern Ireland) Order 1985”

(4) The following provisions are hereby repealed—

(a)section 56 of the [1861 c. 100] Offences against the Person Act 1861;
