94.—(1) The Department may by regulations provide that this Part applies to contracts to which Part VII of the Companies Act 1989(1) applies by virtue of regulations made under section 172(1) of that Act (settlement arrangements provided by the Bank of England), as it applies to contracts connected with a recognised investment exchange or recognised clearing house.

(2) Regulations under this Article may provide that the provisions of this Part apply with such exceptions, additions and adaptations as appear to the Department to be necessary or expedient.

(3) Before making any regulations under this Article, the Department shall consult the Treasury and the Bank of England.
