The byelaws may provide that a person contravening them shall be guilty of an offence and be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale for each offence and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding one-tenth of level 3 on the standard scale for each day on which the offence continues after conviction.N.I.
