The Social Security (Welfare to Work) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998

The Department of Health and Social Services for Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 30C(4)(b), 47(6), 68(11)(b)(i), (ca) and (cc), 122(1)(a) and (d), 131(1), 167A, 167C, 167D, 167E and 171(3) and (4) of, and paragraph 1 of Schedule 11 to, the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 19921, Articles 6 and 14 of the Social Security (Incapacity for Work) (Northern Ireland) Order 19942 and Article 6(5) of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 19953 and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, with the consent of the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland4 in so far as regulation 9 is concerned, and after agreement by the Social Security Advisory Committee that proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it5, hereby makes the following Regulations:
