ROAD TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES
These Regulations further amend the Goods Vehicles (Testing) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995 as follows—For vehicles exceeding 3,500 kilograms maximum gross weight—the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal for a 4 axle rigid vehicle is increased from £32·50 to £35;the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal is reduced as follows—for a 2 axle rigid vehicle, from £25 to £23;for a 3 axle rigid vehicle, from £30 to £28·50; andfor an articulated vehicle having a 2 axle drawing vehicle, from £27·50 to £25; andthe fee payable where an application for a re-test is made within 21 days from the date of service of a notice of refusal of a goods vehicle test certificate is reduced from £16·50 to £13 for all vehicles.For a trailer, the fee payable where an application for a re-test is made within 21 days from the date of service of a notice of refusal of a goods vehicle test certificate is increased from £11 to £13.The following fees remain unchanged—for a vehicle of 3,500 kilograms maximum gross weight or under—the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal remains unchanged at £17, andthe fee payable where an application for a re-test is made within 21 days from the date of service of a notice of refusal of a goods vehicle test certificate remains unchanged at £10;for an articulated vehicle having a 3 axle drawing vehicle, the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal remains unchanged at £32·50; andfor a trailer, the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal remains unchanged at £22.
