The Radioactive Substances (Basic Safety Standards) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003

The Department of the Environment being a department designated1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722 in relation to the safety measures in regard to radioactive substances and the emission of ionising radiation, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of that Act and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
