EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order provides for the coming into operation of the remaining provisions (paragraphs (6) and (7)) of Article 150 of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 on 1st March 2009.
Article 150(6) and (7) gives the Department for Social Development the power to make regulations requiring the Board of the Pension Protection Fund to take actions in respect of the rights of pension scheme members.
