1. This Order may be cited as the Plant Health (Amendment No.2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2010 and shall come into operation on 17th August 2010.
2.—(1) Part B of Schedule 14 to the Plant Health Order (Northern Ireland) 2006(4) shall be amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) to (5).
(2) In the definition of District No.1 (County Down), paragraph (a) All Ards Peninsula (south of main road from Greyabbey to Ballywalter), the following townlands shall be omitted.
Ballyboghilbo (that portion lying south of the main road from Greyabbey to Ballywalter), Ballybryan, Blackabbey, Bootown, Killyvolgan, Rosemount.
(3) In the definition of District No.1 (County Down), paragraph (a), the following townlands shall be omitted—
Ardminnan, Ardquinn, Balliggan, Ballyadam, Ballyatwood (that portion lying south of the main road from Greyabbey to Ballywalter), Ballycran Beg, Ballycran More, Ballyedock or Carrstown, Ballyesborough, Ballyfrench, Ballygalget, Ballygarvan, Ballygarvigan, Ballygelagh, Ballygraffan, Ballyhalbert, Ballyhemlin, Ballyhenry, Ballyherly, Ballylimp, Ballymacnamee, Ballyminnish, Ballymurphy, Ballyquintin, Ballyspurge, Ballywaddan, Ballywalter, Ballywhite, Ballywhollart, Ballyobegan, Broom Quarter, Castleboy, Cloghy, Cookstown, Demesne, Drumardan, Drumardan Quarter, Echlinville, Fish Quarter, Glastry, Granagh, Gransha, Inishargy, Killydressy, Kircubbin, Kirkistown, Lisbane, Marlfield, Newcastle, Nunsquarter, Portavogie, Priest Town, Ratallagh, Roddens, Rowreagh, Slanes, Springvale, Tara, Thomastown, Tieveshilly, Tullycarnan, Tullycross, Tullymally, Tullytramon.
(4) In the definition of District No.2 (Mid-Ulster), the following townlands shall be omitted—
Aghagaskin, Aughrim, Ballymacpeake Upper, Ballymaguigan, Ballymulderg Beg, Ballymulderg More, Ballynagarve, Ballynease Helton, Ballynease-Macpeake, Ballynease-Strain, Ballynocker, Ballyronan More, Carraloan (Glebe), Creagh-The (Etre and Otre) (also Intakes adjoining), Derrygarve, Drumenagh, Drumlamph, Dunamoney, Glenone (that portion south of the main road from Gulladuff to Portglenone), Killyberry, Killyberry.Boyd, Killyfaddy, Lisnamorrow, Moneystaghan-Ellis, (that portion south of the main road from Gulladuff to Portglenone), Mullaghboy (E.D.(E.D.Bellaghy), Old Town Deer Park, Old Town Downing, Tamlaghtduff, Tamniaran, Toberhead, Tullylinkisay.
(5) In the definition of District No.4 (Ballycastle) the following townlands shall be omitted—
Ballydurnian, Ballyveely, Broom-beg, Broom-more, Carey Mill, Churchfield, Drumahaman, Drumaridly, Drumawillin. Drummans, Glebe (E.D.Ballycastle), Gortamaddy or White Hall, Kilcreg, Losset, Magherindonnelly, Townparks.

This Order amends the Plant Health Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 by removing certain townlands previously scheduled as safety zones to protect against spread of potato wart disease (PWD). Previously the varieties of potatoes grown in these townlands were restricted, by the Plant Health Order (Northern Ireland) 2006, to PWD resistant types. The Order lifts restrictions on the growing of potatoes in the former safety zones as provided in Article 2.
