Regulation 2

SCHEDULE 1DISPOSAL OPERATIONS D8, D9, D10, D12 AND D15 AS SET OUT IN ANNEX IIA OF DIRECTIVE 75/442/EEC ON WASTE, AS AMENDED(1)

“D8Biological treatment not specified elsewhere in this Annex which results in final compounds or mixtures which are discarded by means of any of the operations numbered D1 to D12.
D9Physico-chemical treatment not specified elsewhere in this Annex which results in final compounds or mixtures which are discarded by means of any of the operations numbered D1 to D12 (e.g. evaporation, drying, calcination, etc.).
D10Incineration on land.
D12Permanent storage (e.g. emplacement of containers in a mine, etc.).
D15Storage pending any of the operations numbered D1 to D14 (excluding temporary storage, pending collection, on the site where it is produced).”.

SCHEDULE 2LABELLING OF DECONTAMINATED EQUIPMENT

Each item of decontaminated equipment must be clearly marked with an indelible and embossed or engraved sign which must include the following information:–

“DECONTAMINATED PCB EQUIPMENT

”.
