PART 8Variation and Termination of Contracts
Other grounds for termination by the Health Board102
The Health Board may serve notice in writing on the contractor terminating the contract forthwith or with effect from such date as may be specified in the notice if—
a
the contractor has breached the contract and, as a result of that breach, the safety of the contractor’s patients is at serious risk if the contract is not terminated; or
b
the contractor’s financial situation is such that the Health Board considers that the Health Board is at risk of material financial loss.
