These Regulations revoke and re-enact with changes the Products of Animal Origin (Third Country Imports) (Scotland) Regulations 2002 (S.S.I. 2002/445 as amended by S.S.I. 2002/565, 2003/165, 2003/225, 2003/333, 2003/411, 2005/323, 2005/645 and 2006/156). The principal changes are the addition of a new regulation 3, and changes to regulations 5, 17, and to Part 9 (see below). The Schedules have also been reorganised, and revised in order to make reference to Community instruments that have come into force recently.
