Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 166(2) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 20101.
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2011 and comes into force on 7th October 2011.
Appointed day2
7th October 2011 is the day appointed for the following provisions of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010 to come into force—
a
section 157 (vacant dwellings: use of information obtained for council tax purposes); and
b
section 158 (housing support: persons found to be homeless or threatened with homelessness), but only for the purpose of enabling consultation by the Scottish Ministers in terms of section 32B(7) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 19872.
