The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 33(2) and (3) of the Historic Environment (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 2011(1).

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Historic Environment (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2011 and comes into force on 1st December 2011.

Appointed day

2.  The day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions (to the extent not already in force) of the Historic Environment (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 2011 specified in column 1 of the Schedule (the subject matter of which is described in column 2 of the Schedule) is 1st December 2011.

The Order brings into force on 1st December 2011 for all purposes sections 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 14 to 26 and 28 of the Historic Environment (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 2011.
