SCHEDULE 2MODIFICATIONS RELATING TO FIRE

Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1999

18.—(1) The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1999(1) are modified as follows.

(2) In regulation 23(1)(db) (persons by whom theory tests may be conducted)(2)—

(a)for the first “any” to “(asp 5))” substitute “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service”; and

(b)for the second “any relevant authority” substitute “that Service”.

(3) In regulation 24(1)(cb) (persons by whom manoeuvres, practical and unitary tests may be conducted)(3)—

(a)for the first “any” to “(asp 5))” substitute “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service”; and

(b)for the second “any relevant authority” substitute “that Service”.
