National Institutions Measure 1998 (Appointed Day Instrument 1998)
Whereas the National Institutions Measure 1998 received the Royal Assent on the second day July 1998
And Whereas by section 15 of the said Measure it is provided that the Measure shall come into force on such date as the Archbishops of Canterbury and York may jointly appoint and that different dates may be appointed for different provisions
Now therefore we GEORGE LEONARD by Divine Providence Archbishop of Canterbury and DAVID MICHAEL by Divine Providence Archbishop of York do hereby jointly appoint that all the provisions of the said Measure shall come into force on the first day of January 1999.
Dated this fourteenth day of October One thousand nine hundred and ninety-eight
