The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(2) of the Care of Cathedrals Measure 2011 F1, make the following Instrument:

1. This Instrument may be cited as the Care of Cathedrals Measure 2011(Appointed Day ) Instrument 2011.

2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Care of Cathedrals Measure 2011 is 1st September 2011.

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Instrument)
This Instrument brings into force, on 1st September 2011, the whole of the Care of Cathedrals Measure 2011. The Measure consolidates, with corrections and minor improvements, the Care of Cathedrals Measure 1990, the Care of Cathedrals (Supplementary Provisions) Measure 1994 and the Care of Cathedrals (Amendment ) Measure 2005, and related enactments.
