4Citation and extent.

This Act may be cited as the Mines Management Act 1971, and the Mines and Quarries Acts 1954 and 1969 and this Act may be cited together as the Mines and Quarries Acts 1954 to 1971.

This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
