(2)Except where the context otherwise requires, any expression to which a meaning is assigned by [F1the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 or the Social Security Administration Act 1992], or by any regulations made under [F1either of those Acts], has that meaning also for the purposes of this Act.

(3)This Act shall come into force on the expiration of a period of three months beginning with the day on which it is passed.

(4)This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
