12Where an application to the Secretary of State under the M1Insurance (Transfer of General Business) Regulations 1980 for approval of a transfer has been made before 1st January 1982 and not determined before the commencement of this Act, the application shall be determined in accordance with the law in force immediately before 1st January 1982.
