As soon as practicable after receiving notice from a constituent council F1. . . that it has made an appointment, or F1. . . that it has terminated an appointment, under this Part of this Act, the authority to which the appointment was made shall give public notice of the fact that the appointment has been made or terminated and of the name of the person concerned.
