E127 Repeal, consequential amendments and transitional provisions.

The M1Cruelty to Animals Act 1876 is hereby repealed.

The enactments mentioned in Schedule 3 to this Act shall have effect with the amendments there specified, being amendments consequential on the provisions of this Act.

The M2Breeding of Dogs Act 1973 shall not apply to the breeding of dogs for use in regulated procedures if they are bred at a designated breeding establishment.

Schedule 4 to this Act shall have effect with respect to the transitional matters there mentioned.

The Secretary of State may by order make such further transitional provisions as he considers necessary or expedient.
