Rate support grants shall not be payable in respect of the financial year 1989–90 and subsequent financial years.

For the financial year 1989–90 and each subsequent financial year, the Secretary of State may make F2grants (to be known as “revenue support grants”) to local authorities.

Schedule 4 to this Act has effect with respect to revenue support grants.
