25E+W+SIn section 39 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 (street traders’ licences)—
(a)in subsection (3)(b), for the words “section 7 of the M1Milk and Dairies (Scotland) Act 1914” there shall be substituted the words “ regulations made under section 19 of the Food Safety Act 1990 ”; and
(b)in subsection (4)—
(i)for the words “regulations made under sections 13 and 56 of the M2Food and Drugs (Scotland) Act 1956”, there shall be substituted the words “ section 1(3) of the Food Safety Act 1990 ”;
(ii)for the words “islands or district council” there shall be substituted the words “ food authority (for the purposes of section 5 of the Food Safety Act 1990) ”; and
(iii)for the words “sections 13 and 56 of the Food and Drugs (Scotland) Act 1956”, there shall be substituted the words “ section 16 of the Food Safety Act 1990 ”.
