Inadequate professional services: compensationE+W
16(1)The amount specified in a direction by virtue of paragraph 15(1)(c) shall not exceed [F1£5,000].
(2)The [F2Secretary of State] may by order made by statutory instrument amend sub-paragraph (1) by substituting for the sum of £1,000 such other sum as he considers appropriate.
(3)Before making any such order the [F2Secretary of State] shall consult the Council.
(4)Any statutory instrument made under this paragraph shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.
