58E+W+SIn section 80 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (exercise of traffic sign functions by person other than traffic authority), in subsection (1), for “highway authority” or, in Scotland, “roads authority” in both places where those expressions occur substitute “ traffic authority ”.
