54(1)In paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the European Parliamentary Elections Act 1978 (returning officers etc.), in sub-paragraph (5)(a) omit “and Wales” and at the end insert—
“(aa)in Wales, a county or county borough;”.
(2)In paragraph 5A of Schedule 2 to that Act (local inquiries held by Boundary Commission), in sub-paragraph (4)(a) omit “and Wales” and after “district” insert—
“(aa)in Wales, the council of a county or county borough;”.
