The Leasehold Reform Act 1967 (c. 88)E+W

1(1)In section 28 of the Leasehold Reform Act (retention or resumption of land required for public purposes), after subsection (6) insert—E+W

(6A)In subsections (5) and (6) above, any reference to a county council shall be read, in relation to Wales, as including a reference to a county borough council.

(2)In Schedule 4A to that Act (exclusion of certain shared ownership leases), in paragraph 2(2)(a), after “county,” insert “ county borough, ”.

The Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 (c. 80)E+W

2E+WIn section 5 of the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 (no statutory tenancy where landlord’s interest belongs to Crown or to local authority, etc.), in subsection (3)(a), after “county” insert “ , county borough ”.
