24In section 62(1A) of the Civil Defence Act 1939 (power of local authority to appropriate lands and buildings for purposes of civil defence etc.), in paragraph (b), for “regional, islands or district council” substitute “ council constituted under section 2 of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 ”.
