Nothing in this Act affects the restriction imposed by paragraph 4(2) of Schedule 2 to the M1Education Act 1993 (Commencement No.1 and Transitional Provisions) Order 1993 on the jurisdiction exercisable by a Local Commissioner, by virtue of section 25(5) of the M2Local Government Act 1974, in relation to cases where notice of appeal was served before 1st October 1993.
