Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000

Commencement

335.By virtue of section 163, a number of the provisions of the Act came into force on Royal Assent or on dates fixed by the Act. The Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (Commencement No.1 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2001 brings into force the majority of the remaining provisions of the Act. The commencement dates for the provisions covered by the Order, or which are already in force, are set out in the table below:
