3(1)Section 29 (arrangements and regulations for general medical services) is amended as provided in this paragraph.
(2)In subsection (1), after “duty” there is inserted “of every Primary Care Trust and”.
(3)In subsection (2)—
(a)for paragraph (a) there is substituted—
“(a)for the preparation and publication by each Primary Care Trust and by each Health Authority of a list of medical practitioners who undertake to provide general medical services for persons in the area of the Primary Care Trust or Health Authority;”, and
(b)in paragraph (f), after “of a” there is inserted “Primary Care Trust or”.
