The House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975 shall be amended as follows.

In Part II of Schedule 1 (bodies of which all members are disqualified) omit the references to—
a
the Commission for Racial Equality,
b
the Disability Rights Commission, and
c
the Equal Opportunities Commission.

In Part III of Schedule 1 (disqualifying offices) omit the references to—
a
Additional Commissioner of the Commission for Racial Equality, and
b
Additional Commissioner of the Equal Opportunities Commission.
