Section 6 of the Imprisonment (Temporary Provisions) Act 1980 (detention in the custody of a constable) is amended as follows.

In subsection (1) for the words from “prison” to “in which” there is substituted “ prison or accommodation which is youth detention accommodation (within the meaning given by section 107(1) of the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000) in which ”.

In subsection (2) for the words from “prison” to “in which” there is substituted “ accommodation in which ”.
