In section 29 of the Fair Trading Act 1973 (powers of entry and seizure)—

a

in subsection (5), for “barrister, advocate or solicitor” substitute “ relevant lawyer ”, and

b

after subsection (5) insert—

Relevant lawyer” means a barrister, advocate, solicitor, or other legal representative communications with whom may be the subject of a claim to privilege.
