1AA 2010 is amended as follows.

2In section 4(3) (Academy orders: when maintained school is “converted into” Academy) for “a school” substitute “an educational institution”.

3(1)Section 6 (effect of Academy order) is amended as follows.

(2)In subsection (2), for “a school” substitute “an educational institution”.

(3)In subsection (3) —

(a)after “selective school” insert “and is to be converted into an Academy school”;

(b)for “section 1(6)(c)” substitute “section 1A(1)(c)”;
